There is a challenge on the Sports Interactive board called 'Give Youth A Chance'. This challenge is seen as nearly an impossible one, with the ultimate aim being to start with a team in the bottom tier of England and take them to Champions League glory. The catch? You can't sign any players or bring in anybody on loan - you must work your way up using entirely players from your own youth system. You may only bring in staff if you have none already, with the aim being that your youth players can work as your future staff after they retire. You may loan players out, but can not bring in anybody else.
This alone is almost impossible, with some people attempting but nobody getting really far as of yet. However, I've decided to take this a step up.
With my recently released World Domination database, set in the United Arab Emirates, it now contains 35 tiers and 68 individual leagues. I have chosen only the best 1360 teams in the world to compete in this, and as a result each league is extremely fiercely contested - particularly the top league.
However, it's not the top league I'm interested in today. Instead, I'm going to do a spin-off of the 'Give Youth A Chance' challenge. I will start with a team in the 35th tier of the World Domination - one with minimal youth facilities, and I will attempt to take them to glory. Even if I won promotion in every single year, it would take me at least 36 years to win the Premier League. I will also need to win the Champions Cup - that is my version of the Champions League. This contains over 800 of the best teams in the world, battling it out in an extremely intense competition.
FC Superfund Pasching are one of the worst teams in the bottom tier. They are predicted to finish 17th out of 20, have minimal youth facilities, a value of 150K and have extremely basic training facilities. They were originally an Austrian club, formed in 2007, however they have now moved to the Emirates to compete in the World Domination. They have no trophies at all.
What a challenge this will be.
