Do we need a foreigner player limit if the England team is to survive?

but did you see the way he was performing in everton, man u, he barely gets any attention, its always van der sar, ronaldo, ronaldo again, nani, giggs, carrick. u dont see much of rooney now.

The quota system is just silly. You pick players on merit of whether they're good enough. That's that. If England can't produce good enough footballers then tough. Get it sorted at grass roots level.

Someone suggested a limit on the size of the squad to around twenty-three or something like that, I think it was on Sky text. So, if there are major injury problems, then clubs would have to play the kids and the owners would have to fund the academies. What do you guys think of that idea?
 
If it was around 23 then the owners would just make sure there were 23 top quality players in the squad, meaning there would actually be less chances for youngsters to get a game.

No need for any sort of quota, if a player is good enough, he'll get a game.
