OK so I'm on Vista Home Premium, and on two accounts.

I want to turn UAC off but I'm worried about if that I'll have to type in the other account's password to run a program (once) because the other account is password protected.

help

Yeah, despite what people will tell you, turning off UAC can easily be more hassle than it is worth. A very good feature of Windows 7 is the one that gives you more control over what it stops warning you about.

However, that particular problem seems partly related to the user accounts themselves. If you are referring to your own personal computer, then there shouldn't be any trouble to have the account changed to an administrator account.
