A lot of people it seems are unsure as to how to use the Gob Viewer (in fact I seem to be the only one using it).
Here's a very quick tutorial to help you all out:

1. Open cricket_pc.gob in your Hex Editor. Select find and do an ASCII (text) search for kit01

2. When the Hex Editor finds the string, read off the corresponding decimal from the right hand side of the page. This one is 82873357. (Your Hex Editor must be displaying decimal as the offset)

3. Enter the value and the resolution (this kit is 512x512 in the Gob Viewer). The resolution will vary depending on what you are viewing. Trial and error is the best method. Click show picture.

Remember that many of the gfx strings you find won't display in the Gob Viewer as they only contain pallete information.
Here are some values and resolutions to enter in the Gob Viewer:
23873553 256*256
829788177 128*256
203338149 128*128
524045441 512*512
556208065 256*256

ASCII strings to search for include ad, adv, kit02, grass01 etc
Hope this helps people.
