Warne v/s Vaughan: A "war" between the two greats

With the Ashes going on, Australia's Shane Warne and England's Michael Vaughan decided to run a simultaneous tournament being competed between the two teams, England and Australia. Both selected 9 most suitable players for their sides for the test series from their respective nations. The ODI and T20 series will feature different international players in accordance with the real-life squads of England and Australia.

Warne and Vaughan will need your help to build up their team and take it to victory. Each team will have a squad of 18 players each. Now that both have selected 9 international players each for their squads, the total number of players in the squad becomes ten, as the two greats themselves will participate too. They will also be the coaches for their respective sides.

So now, they both need 8 players each (total 16) to complete their squads and you guys from PlanetCricket need to help them.

How will the teams be assigned?
Firstly, we will have the sign-up process. After we get a total of 16 players, I will contact Mr. Warne and Mr. Vaughan and ask them to select a vice-captain for their sides ie a player of the registrants from PlanetCricket. The vice-captain will then do the drafts for his side.

The guys who register at PlanetCricket will be a part of their respective sides for the Test, ODI and T20 series but the international players will change accordingly.

Shane Warne named his team as "Spinning Dicks" while Michael Vaughan named his team as "Master Batters".

The Playing XI for each side comprises of their captain (Warne/Vaughan), a maximum of 4 international players and a minimum of 6 players from PlanetCricket.

Will Brendon Hedger be the vice-captain of Spinning Dicks?​

Recently, Brendon Hedger and Shane Warne were caught debating over Nathan Hauritz's exclusion from the Spinning Dicks. Hedger left a message on Warne's facebook page about his feelings over the move. Both were pretty formal in their discussions at the start but the talk later turned up into heated quarrel.

Shane Warne has hinted to the fans that he might appoint Brendon Hedger as the vice-captain of his team. If he does so, it will be interesting to see how Hedger goes by during the drafts. Will he try to ruin the team or be practical and determined and try for a perfect squad. The current situation gives us all a strong feeling that Hedger has some plans for Warnie.
