yeah but we will note the main events of the story, it is not an attempt to make people's stories sound bad we are just trying to help people if they want to. We don't want to make stories sound poor, we want to give a non-biased view as too what is going on, people don't have to listen if they don't want to

The story review team could give links to matches and certain, stand-out, updates. The people can also read through every other update that isn't mentioned, if they so wish.

Then why not read the story? Thats what I really don't get! Is this so people can just choose to read the best bits of stories and not follow them or what?

Matt, do you really think that people would be stupid enough to put someone's story isn't very good? I'm sure the AI review team don't do that. The review team would suggest ways to the person in which they could imporve their story. No story on here is rubbish.

Nobody will say that exactly, but lets say one story gets 7/10 and another gets 9/10. People are going to be deflected from the lower scoring one, which is, again, unfair on the author.

Well if people aren't going to read them then what's the point of having them?

I don't think we will be saying that a story is far more superior than another. I doubt that we will give /10 ratings, as (as you said) it would be harsh and unfair on that person with the lower rating. We are hardly going to absolutely rip a story apart. If a story needs improving, we will just tell the writer privately about what parts of updates need improving etc. Nothing harsh.

People may not have the time! I most certainly don't have the time to go scouring through 1000 or more posts, just to find bits that I like, and that are well done!

So you are saying people are just going to read one or two updates of a long story? Won't that harm the story writers? It means that every single update would have to be absolutely brilliant for it to be read.

With the nature of reviews it will be fairly obvious to readers which story/ies the reviews prefer. There is no way to get them all exactly even reviews.

Again, you missed the point. We will give a few links to some brilliant updates of theirs, and people will then (if they want to, and if they like the look of it) continue reading. We aren't trying to pressurise writers! We will be doing even reviews, and we are hardly going to be obvious on which story/ies we prefer.
To be honest, I think they are all equally brilliant.

for example me, when i first joined some stories had been going on months already, and i didn't have the foggiest idea of what they were about. i wasn't gonna read 1000 posts, this is where the review team could help, with newer members we can help them understand the story and recommend them to post in the threads

M_Vaughan, we are talking about reviewing the stories. Like having a article wrote up with some ideas from the people i listed, im going to give it a trial run for the next winner of SOTM.

But in all honesty, most people just look at the pictures when viewing stories so they aren't really interested in reading about it. They'd be more likely to just head right into a story than to read about it first.
