We must create a "Window" for the ICL

And nobody asked CA to restrict their teams to consist of only Aussie players. Why don't they change the laws atleast for the 20-20s and bring them on par with IPL?

Because once all foreign players come into the competition, young Aussie players don't get a go, hence affecting the national team

And in reference into the Manchester united post, yes i also think thats rubbish, soccer in a prime example of money ruling a sport and making the word loyalty a forgotten thing.

Eh, maybe i'm just used to Australian sport such as AFL where it still exists, thank god for that then....

Welcome to reality my friend. And im sorry to tell you but some of the AFL players have also followed reality and went to play in the NFL in America. I think one the guys name is called Graham(cant remember the first name) which is his last name.

Oh come on, its the 21st century! Tell me one player who sticks to his roots for his whole career. I didnt see you complaining when he was playing for Hampshire all that time.

Well that's like saying all those millions of fans that arent from Manchester cant support Manchester United. How could they..... tsk tsk
and I'm pretty sure most of the players dont originate from Manchester.

good point.

I think it should be organised so there is 1 T20 Domestic Tournament and 1 international tournament. Why not merge all of them together that would be great. make heaps of teams, but it wont work.

ICL is crap, they dont have the standards.
Like you know anything about standards...

ICL is illegal, unfortunately, so it won't get it's own window.

The IPL shouldn't either, unless every country in the world can take part in it. Maybe a few more teams and a few more matches. I believe they do have plans to expand it in the coming years, so after then. As of now though, nope. It's just another domestic competition.

And India has it's Ranji trophy and other domestic competitions for local cricketer. The IPL is an international venture.

If you think T20 competition can churn out test cricketers, then you're wrong mate.

Personally, I think the IPL should not get a full window. It is highly unlikely that all Test playing nations will be playing during the IPL tournament period, and even if they are, that's the reason that you have selected Indian players in the first place.

Whoever's available should play and if you are away on international duty, so be it.

Agree 100%, with some players missing out some of the time, more players will get a chance to play.

I am worried about the Aus, NZ, SA franchise league though, I want to see WA get to the CL not a franchise from WA
