:hpraiseJust for all the makers out there including me what do people like.

Just write a bit about what you enjoy to read.

What I Like

I enjoy stories that have a good storyline. For example one that involves players, media and fans. Gamer is an example of AWESOME AWESOME graphics and very good writing. but his style is like the sky sports coverage with interviews and pre matcvh shows, rather than the view of one individual and in that way Gamers is LESS like a BOOK and more like a Internet or TV show.

Highlander is an example of a story that has a story line. Simbazz also had one like this and my Freddie Seccombe career one. If you have a story line i feel it makes the reader involved and its easier to read than just analysis. But I know most writers do involve PC members and therefore no critisism is meant.

(No critisism to gamer:hpraise)

With graphics i like the animated hawkeye and the four boxes. Also a bit of creation like scorecards.....beehives (bowling spells who bowls where)

I dont like plain screenshots without them being edited

Guys Just Post Your View So All The Writers Can See How To Improve

I like stories that are:
- original
- interesting
- Have frequent updates
- are easy to follow.
- The updates don't have to be fancy or long,
- just presented neatly and frequently done.

I like stories that include:

I also like my story :p

But being serious. Good graphics is important but I find more and more these days I appreciate good writing skills, with no spelling mistakes etc. I most enjoy reading stories with PC members in them as the whole community can get involved.

Totally agree. That's like in my story. I dont have many great Graphics like Gamer or Suren, but i put alot of effort into my writing skills which makes it alot easier to read.

I prefer seeing the PC members in the squad itself! Makes everyone feel involved and probably our only ever chance of playing top-level cricket! :p
So I voted for that :)

I like stories that dont have massive signup threads, otherwise I agree with Hemmers.

I really like stories that are done very professionally as a career. SHort Leg story is my favorite of all time. Just the in-depth work of all the different matches and interviews and whatever. It was incredible creativity and i was sad to see it go.

On the other hand I love to see stories like Gamer's and Suren's, because they have done it also professionally in a different way. Using the matches to base it around and the graphic work is awesome.

I think graphics should be well thought out and look very presentable. That doesn't mean you need to have loads of things going on, even just a picture with attractive text along the bottom and a 1px black stroke round the edge is all that's needed. I think that stories should be well written and thought out. I think that you should concentrate less on the results and what have you and look more and the writing. In my eyes writing is the most important aspect. You know you have a good story if every member who posts reads the whole update.

Hope this helps :)

I just like to see good graphics with animation , but unfortanetly not everybody has the right programs for it :(

the graphics dont always have to be like it just came out of the game. A little creativity can go a long way. take my story for Example i do all my graphics on paint maily because i dont have and cricket games on pc but with a little creativeness anything can happen

I like the stories that are written with a lot of thought put in, (creative) and those with graphics (if possible) are also good.
