im not talking about bit hitting, im talking about elegance and class
B) u were trying to compare clarke to mark waugh,

that is so unfair to mark waugh. he was big hitter as well as good timer of the ball, clarke will take years to even come close to mark

ya,but so far from his performaces, michael clarke definitely looks classy.

I'm not saying Michael Clarke is a big hitter, I'm saying he is classy and elegant in his stroke play. You don't have to be a bit hitter of the ball to be classy.

B) i know that ,but u cant compare clarke with mark ,he doesnt have even 30 % of talent what mark has,

maybe i am saying this cuz i was a great fan of mark, and they way he left cricket i think ,it was not good, atleast they should have given him some trophy or some thing ,he has done a lot for australian cricket

Of course Afridi is a better bowler - he came in the side as a 16 year old legspinner.

Afridi was never known for his great scores, this thread is about Big hitting, and nobody can deny that Afridi is not a big hitter. After all pinchhitting the fastest one day hundred against bowlers of Murali, Jayasuriya and Vaas's class, and becoming the youngest player in the history of the game to score an ODI hundred - the stats speak for themselves.

i think we are about 10 posts past the afridi issue. no we talking bout classy players. so GET A LIFE ZAF!!!

B) cricket is not all about hitting, whoever started this thread is a .............

big fan of pinch hitters,
