Why does it run so slow?

I recently installed BLIC 2007 in my computer but the game runs in an unusual pace.The cut scenes run at a normal pace but the frame rate is real bad for batting,bowling and fielding.For a spinner the frame rate is slightly better but for pace bowlers it is too slow.But the demo version runs very well.I have nvidia geforce fx 5200 graphics card with the latest driver and Pentium 4 processor[1.8 ghz].I have tried everything mentioned in the help section but there is not much improvement.Can anyone here help me?
