Why don't they just bring back Irfan Pathan for India to give him another go?

Nehra is definitely better in ODIs that Sreesanth. Sri seems to have no clue how to bowl in ODIs, and something about his bowling means he concedes tonnes of runs. Nehra is atleast fast, straight, has a decent yorker. His problem is he gets predictable, everytime he gets hit it's like the batsmen know what's coming.

Agarkar his far better ODI olayer than any bowler mentioned in this thread.

Agarkar was one of the best ODI bowlers India has ever produced, along with Srinath, Bhajji, Dev...

His only problem was when it came to Test cricket :p

HE is 32 and remember he always takes 5 wickets in his come back matches. I say let him play final of WC only. :p

Agarkar economy is 5.07
Irfan Pathan is 5.25
Sreesanth is 6.03 :laugh
Ashish Nehra is 5.11
Ishant Sharma 5.81
which one would you pick

It's not all about the economy.

Although I believe Agarkar has a better strike rate too.

^:laugh
comparing Sir Wasim with that crap bowler.:doh
Irfan no where stands with Wasim.
when he made his debut, that time he was far better bowler than what now he is.

Sir Aggy deserves a chance.

lol I didn't say he is Wasim Akram, I mean like he is like Wasim Akram.
left arm seamer, can scare runs sometime etc.

I would give him a chance then Aggy.
plus he is still young

Maybe try Agarkar once again and see if the guy can really live up the promise that he showed. Dont expect a single run from him as a batsman. Just hope he concedes less runs and maybe pick a wicket or two.

Irfan and Agarkar seem better choices these days. RP Singh, ??? On him, I agree with surendar. I have lost hope on RP. Control and RP Singh are like India and Pakistan (of the 80's and 90's).

Aggy is far better bowler than any other seamer in India except Zaheer.
He is also performing well in Ranji, now what do our selectors want from him.
If I would have been there, I should have cemented his place in the WC squad.

Agarkar deserves another go but India need to bring in someone who can bowl at 150 KPH consistently. Their lack of such a paceman can make their attack very susceptible to hitting.
