Will this ever be fixed or can be fixed?

As much as i love the game, the problem for online is still there i cannot connect to people on my friends list.Only one i can connect to but he cannnot connect to me...and just now i tired connecting with my mate it won't let us connect to each other and message comes 'unable to connect to host' Will this be fixed? or are there gonna be some ports that could be opened?

I have a solution. Sell your PS3 and buy an XBOX 360.

On a serious note, you need to forward some ports.

Forward the ports that are in Ashes Cricket 2009, this should work. Let me know if it works or not.

Type 2 is recommended to play games or chat online ...

Yes mines is Nat type 2, i will contact codies to see if they have the correct ports or other solution for it.

i had the same problem the best thing to do is open all ports & have a stactic ip address this worked for me i think its 1 to 6651 as you can not catch a virus on your ps3 its pointless having ports

well i opened the port for ic2010 which was 9013 as codemasters emailed me about it and i can connect fine, touch wood lol.

The problem is once you select a game from the main lobby, there is a slight pause before it starts saying 'joining game' You then know it will not connect i hope you all know what i am on about here.I have even opened my ports so maybe it's not me / us...and needs a fix because this is frustrating.:doh
