So the ceremony was today, and it is starting tomorrow!

India are also tehre + many African nations!
I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to see them!! :happy :happy
Does anyone know how I can find out what day the Pakistanis are skiiing?

I saw them at the homepage, but I checked their group and I could see Indian athletes there, what they were going to compete in but not Pakistani! :confused:

I really like the winter Olympics, its 'different' which is good.

To bad we don't have a big team, do we have a bobsled team?? hehe, sorry, i watched "cool runnings" last night!

Australia - the turtle of the winter olympics. never write us off. sure everyone has to fall over and out of the competition for us to get close to a win but hey sometimes being so far behind everyone has an advantage. on a serious note alisa camplin may have a shot at her title. i dont really intend on watching any of the winter olympics, or the commonwealth games for that matter

Sadly, the Jamaican bobsled team isn't there this year! But there is a skier from that winter paradise Bermuda!

I used to watch Ski Jumping when I was in Switzerland. I used to support Sven Hannawal but he has retired as he is out of form following a back problem.

I don't know how the Number 1 snowboarder is the world could go a miss. And shes Australian! Torah Bright I would say will at least get a medal, and shes already on most magazines with her looks.

I'll definitely watch the commonwealth games cause I love the swimming events.

Pakistan are not in!
Why? Did they back out? Maybe they couldn't go because of political reasons? That is so bad! I am really, really dissapointed!!
Jamaica also have "cancelled" their Bob team...
Well, now I can cheer for Norway!
