Squad for 2008 Season

Vikram Solanki (Captain)
Vikram will be Worcestershire's captain for the season, the indian-born Englishman has high hopes for his team this season expecting them to gain promotion easily, he is an excellent batsmen, can wicket-keep if needed and bowl some tidy spin

Moeen Ali
Moeen is a great prospect for Worcestershire the 20 year old right-hander is an aggresive batsmen who isnt afraid to go for big shots

Graeme Hick
This man needs no introduction a prodigy born in Zimbabwe destined for greatness, the savior of England, but Hick never acheived internationally averaging a meek 31 in tests, he however found his form in the domestic game and is paramount for Worcestershire's success this season.

The young dutch all-rounder will be a very regular face this season with great batting skill and tidy off breaks

Kabir will be the main spearhead for Worcestershires bowling attack this season consistent and quick takes alot wickets.

Gareth Andrew
Gareth appeared in a few games last season picking up a few handy wickets

The injury hit seamer joined this season from Glamorgan, and Worcestershire will suceed if he bowls to way he did in the Ashes in 2005

The Aussie Kolpak is a great bowler and wil have to bowl well to secure a place in Worcestershire's very potent pace attack

The young pace bowler has a lot of talent and may feature and some point this season

Steven Magoffin
The Aussie bowler has an irish passport which means he isn't a overseas player, he has great line and length and will be an important part of the bowling attack
