Scotland.......Hmmm,i can't really think of anyone who plays for them.....They've got the Scottish League but no decent National Team.

No decent national team? They would give Australia a run for their money.

Scotland were last in the World Cup back in 1998. And they do have some decent players, not world class, but decent. So about the same as Australia.

To name a few - Barry Ferguson, Darren Fletcher, Steven Pressley, Kenny Miller.

No,i meant the standard of some top class sides, not Australia. And they have a fairly good league,so it is a little surprising that they don't have a more recognised National team.Meaning no offence at all :cheers

Scotland need a few class players, players like they had in the past like Kenny Dalglish and Ally McCoist, that's why the Scotland aren't doing well, there are no real greats in their side.

beat the best Brazil is the best
2006 worldcup is urs

They are the best, but just because they are doesn't mean it is a foregone conclusion.Think about France last time......they got knocked out in the first round!

:rtfl :rtfl :rtfl :rtfl

Ferguson - Couldnt make it at Blackburn so they flogged him for less than they bought him for, just over a year later!

Fletcher - Not even rated by his own fans

Pressley - A joker, playing against other jokers in a joke of a league.

Miller - Rejected from the joke league and is cutting his trade in the fizzy pop league.

Hardly the basis for a good international side is it really?

How can Fletcher have fans if he's not rated? :p Stupid statement! :D

Fletcher is rated by his own fans. As a United fan for years who attends multiple games a season, I rate him.

I think its rather fitting after your comments he goes and gets Man of the Match against Arsenal.

Ferguson was good enough at Blackburn just got homesick. And Miller has a good recent international record. He scored something like 5 in 6 internationals. Not bad for a "reject".

I never said they had world class players. However, they have as many recognisable players as Australia, and are as good a team.

Well, surely Man U are going to buy a replacement.Rather have anyone than Fletcher.

A replacement for what?

Rather have anyone than Fletcher, well thats your opinion. An Arsenal's fan's opinion. But to be honest, he is better than Flamini any day of the week.

Considering where they were a few years ago, Walter Smith did brilliantly to almost qualify when it seemed impossible. Walter should qualify Scotland for Euro 2008. (The qualifying draw is at the end of the month incidently.)
But I'll never forget when we beat Scotland 4-0 about 2 years ago, an Earnshaw hatrick.

This is a werid one but the socceroos vs Brazil game is in big demand with the fans. I got a feeling lots of Aussies must be buying tickets for the big one.

Aside from the final itself and the last 16 game in Munich on June 24, which could figure host Germany if it wins Group A, the most sought after tickets are Germany v Poland (June 14, Dortmund), Brazil v Australia (June 18, Munich), Sweden v England (Cologne, June 20) and Netherlands v Argentina (June 21, Frankfurt).
