Nah, if Dhoni played, the whole spotlight would be on him, and I'd rather have a team full of people that wouldn't be in every single team. Plus, Dhoni or not, I reckon this team could take on any in this thread.

As much as I appreciate the work that you've put in to put together these teams, I'm not sure that there is any relevance. A large amount of these players never played an OD game, let alone a Twenty20. Players like Grace, Bradman, Hobbs, Hammond, Trumper, etc would never have played a One Day game, so you cannot say that they would have been brilliant at twenty20. Players like Richards, Grace, Sobers and Akram would have probably performed well, but without playing the format you'll never know. Even some of the great players of the current generation struggle at Twenty20, Chanderpaul and Tendulkar being examples.

But to be fair, Sachin was only making his return from injury at the IPL, we may see a different Sachin next time round.
