WTF's with bowling?

With the wasd buttons, whenever I use them it just no balls me because i've overstepped. Do i have to press w in conjunction with s to bowl the ball (IE does it work like the 6 hit button)

No you press W in conjunction with W.
You press W before the delivery, place it, then W again in the power meter.

Thats not a doosra- its an arm ball, aka vettori, which drifts away in the air and never works

No it isn't mate, it is a doosra is a sharp turning ball, which is like a wrongun (googly) for off spinners. The arm ball is a delivery which is more flatter and doesn't turn and much. You could say it goes straight on.
And I thought Daniel Vettori was a Left Arm Orthodox Spinner...
