Xbox- is it worth it?

Hi guys, I am hoping to get an Xbox, but want to know if you will help. Is it worth buying an Xbox? I already have a Playstation 2 (PS2). I was hoping to get a Xbox & Brian Lara International Cricket (BLIC) bundle from my local shops. I am under notification of this thread so will reply to your feedback/suggestions quickly.

I think with both Xbox and Playstation, you cannot patch the game and if it releases with some bugs, you are stuck. But still, I have heard that games look excellent on such consoles. So, I would go for it and would recommend others to do the same!

Thanks so much for your thoughts, everyone. I am getting more attached to the idea of buying an Xbox now. I am not addicted to games, but an Xbox is a nice thing to use after a hard day at School and on School breaks when you are stuck for something to do. I would probably only have a few games, because that is all that is really needed. Do any of you recommend any games? I am thinking about Brian Lara International Cricket and perhaps FIFA Football 2005. What do you think?

The XBOX sucks.Waste of money.Get it only if you want XBOX Live.If not,the PS2 is much cheaper and has a MUCH bigger choice of games.Gran Turismo,etc are only PS2 games.So get Xbox only if you want Xbox Live.



Best thing to do is wait for the PS3.

no Trust me It Xbox is way way better Ps2 does have more games I admit but the fun of xbox is that its liek a comp it has more features... you can burn c.ds record stuff has a bulid in memory way better graphics

pc is the best.but the problem is u shud always be ready to try "future proof" components.thats not case with ps2 or xbox.u get a constant output for 5 yrs atleast.no headache on changing the visual options.but pc is pc.gaming is just a subset of pc.
