Yorkers

well guys i am not able to get wickets by bowling yorkers.....mostly the batsman defends it or flicks it to fine leg. this even happens with the no 11 batsman.....makhaya ntini plaing a flick off shoaib akhtar

can somebody please tell me what is the way to get wicets by bowling yorkers.....

Ntini has surprised in the past!!! I'm sure if you bowl 50 overs of pure yorkers you'll get a wicket eventually. Would make the game kinda boring if you could always pick up wickets that way, wouldn't it now?

just vary the pace of the delivery and you will eventually will get a batsman clean bowled

I had the same problem, but the key is variety.

Move the field vary the pace and force different shots.

Or force the stumps to fly.

it works alot better with lower order batsman obviously,but as other people have said,vary the length and pace and you'll eventually get wickets.

the thing is that i am getting plenty of wickets through edges and stuff but not any by bowling the batsman out
the edges are fine i am running through batting lineups with that ....but not any luck with yorkers

Looks opposite to me I dont get edges often.

Most my wickets are by bowling them. Not by yorkers though.

Bring back the length a bit.

if you play 20 ovr one dayera you'll get plenty of bowled.it's pretty cool.

Ah but were is the fun in that.

50 overs or a test bowling them is more fun.

yeah thats what i used to think but now i really like the 20 ovr matches.the bowled are really awesome.i don't just play one dayeers anyway.full season.as the vics.
