You know what really grinds my gears

The only time when you should use bold is if you are quoting something long, but can't take it out of context without people not understanding you.

Colour and font changing is just wrong.

You know what really grinds my gears?

When someone talks over when I'm talking on the phone!

People who refer to a sports player as a "gun", for example "Siddle is a gun".

People who refer to the team they support as "the boys", as in "good effort by the boys today". Only the players themselves can say that. The fans are insignificant and not even in the equation. Coaches and players only mention something about crowd support to appease the public, but it usually has no bearing whatsoever on their performance as a team.

Certain players up their "game" when they are being booed or encouraged by a crowd, so I disagree with your point on that. Natural performers feed off the crowd. Without fans their would be no players.

So, you're saying that players peform just as well in dead silence compared to tons of noise in there favour, encouraging everything they do and urging them to push on?

:facepalm

Agreed with the people above, home support definitely makes a big difference in sporting outcomes. I don't understand the gun thing either.

The general sheepishness of this forum. If one person, does something, lots of people follow. Now we have SOTM. No, that doesn't mean Story of the Month, it's Something of the Month. Why don't we have one for every forum? Like a Cricket Discussion Thread of the Month. It's just stupid, we don't need them for every single forum.

... When you laugh at something really loudly expecting everyone else to while no one else does. :noway

Being so close yet so far from graduation. I wish I could just be done with school already!

People who move to English speaking countries and make no attempt to learn English. People who talk loudly in foreign languages in public places with no respect or courtesy for those around them.

Also the spanish language, it just sounds dirty and disgusting to me.
