It was at a proper cricket pitch but because it was a school 5 over Tourney they decided the best way forward was tiny boundarys.

Basically every single Innings was 100+ the highest was 130 in 5 overs.

that sounds like a job for me man. if the boundaries are thaat small, then every ball should be paradise. and it must be a huge thing when the bowler takes a wicket huh.

I actually managed to hit a couple yesterday . Go me!

I attempted the shot a couple of times in the nets. I missed a few but then i managed to follow through with the shot and I think it could've been a four in a match.

Or on the last ball of the innings, if third man is in the circle, just switch hands and pass the now "fine leg"

safe enough if they are pitching it outside leg stump and have a legside field. there's a difference between a professional employing the shot tactically and a grade cricketer trying to be funny.

i tried it in the nets twice, hit it first poorly, second time superb.

im going try it a few more times in nets then give it a go in our league match on monday. fingers crossed will go flying for 6
