I want to know Tom smith averages 20.00 in carer for me and in my second season 17 od games and 13.45 average with over 40 wickets how come he never gets an england call up?

The England contracts and selection isn't the best piece of coding in the game. I think they mostly pick based on second team averages or potential second team averages.

It's the same when you captain England with quite often some very strange central contracts being awarded. A player can play every international, and I've seen them award a contract to one of my reserve youth players just because his second team average was lower, despite barely playing for my Essex side, and ahead of someone I played in every game and was averaging 24 with the ball in test cricket :

i had a young keeper who wasnt good enough so in one day games i made lumb to keep wickets!

Whoa! Doesen't he keep putting down catches? I had a keeper-batsman called Christopher Taylor, who was a fine bat, but inspite of being a part-time keeper, he used to keep shelling 2-3 catches per CC game (which is most unacceptable)! And Lumb isn't even classifed as a part-time wickie! And who keeps for you in CC?

i have a young keeper called richard blakey Jr who keeps wickets in FC matches..he's a good keeper but a pathetic batsman
