Ah man no disaster stories please. I hate planes and i've gotta be on one of the friggers on Thursday.

I love planes, i love everything connected to them. The only bit i don't like is knowing at some point i'll have to board one to come back home 
I've been on plenty in my life time, the flight to California isn't too short, but i'll agree with Ollie when he says they're relaxing. Especially when you know you're off work or whatever!

If i'm going longer than 3 hours the Laptop goes! As you can do everything you've said there, plus you can play games etc.....
Ever had a grounding at an airport where you've refuelled? They're always fun! Longest one i've had is in Italy, for 13hrs due to the runway not being suitable, one plane came in and took up chunks of it apperently so they needed to mend it and make it solid before another one could risk it.

If I had one hate with planes its the food, on long haul flights to singapore its horrible, this is probably because I hate chinese food and also the smell from the galley (place where everything is kept.) But they are amazing and you have nothing to worry about except yourself and maybe a glance every now and then at this fit girl sitting near you.
When travelling in a group, Airplane banter is always hilarious, chatting up the airhostess and then clapping whenever take off or landing has occured!

Never had to stop over for refuelling but I have one horrible experience of flying KLM and had to stop in Holland or somewhere irrrelevant, I was young and hated the second leg, was possibly the worst hour of my life.
Also looking at the window watching the world go by and seeing what it has to offer. Always goes well when listening to Love Generation by Bob Sinclair

I went to France about 2 year back, with about 6 or 7 men from my club to go play Cricket for nearly a month over there (it included coaching etc.) and they were all pretty on there way to tipsy, n they were just singing along to songs badly, but not to the point where you thought, "shut up," just enough to get cheap laughs!
The food i don't tend to eat, i'd much rather pack my own! If i do have to eat on the flight i pick the plainest thing there.

I went on cruise last week, which IMO, is much better then planes, and you have freedom to do stuff, and move about. 
I went to the pub watched spain Italy match, actually I had real good fun playing arcade games, though I lost money. Even though you had to be 18 for all that stuff. There was no one around to check. Stayed up all night, next day got up on floor 6, lol.
