Hi Guys I have a plan to rate all the allrounder so far in this thread by a simple formula,
if u agree than I want to start the calculation or if u dont it is ok, Plz send some reply so I can get start calculation

formula

(centuries(in all form of the game)*10-age of a player)+(5wkt hall(in all form of the game)*10-age of a player

I'd be more inclined to replace centuries with runs scored, and 5 wicket hauls with number of total wickets. I mean a guy could get 4 wickets every time he bowls and finish his career with more wickets than anyone else, but his rating would be poor because he never took 5 in a match.

average should be taken into account too, if someone plays 100 games and gets 1000 runs, it shouldn't be as good as someone who plays 10 games and gets 500 runs.

Averages are the way to go

(jae,tessietiger) ur both ideas of making a good formula is pretty decent and I m convinced that runs and wickets should be added in the formula not replaced cuz 100s and 5w are the main charm of an allrounder and there will be no need of average cuz already runs are taken in to account

is it ok? its slightly favors expeirence all rounders but not by much

I have finalised the rating system and put the formula in MS Excel, I will calculate all the allrounders rating on sunday

This is the best allrounder you will ever see. His test batting ave has dropped abit but it will be back...

This guy is probably one of my favourite players I've ever had in ICC. His test and ODI stats are not the best due to me not being interested in England, and then only in the winter until the last few years of his career. Still for Middlesex he was awesome, and I must admit I was happy they rarely picked him He is definately a batting allrounder, but the amount of times he picked up a key wicket or even led the attack when I lost a ton of bowlers to England duties was remarkable.

Great player Squiz I don't think he could be classed as a batting or bowling all-rounder, seems to be unbelievably awesome at both! Using Bevingtons stats above him, his one weakness seems to be his fielding

Using todays real life records, he has broken both the test match runs and test match wickets record

I remember Hary price from his youth age and now what a player he is become ,I got allrounders whose 1st and 2nd season are remarkable but they just lost after then
is there any key to success ,because I know that hary price bowling avg in Second team is 20 and my bowlers always have bowling in 24s or 26s but they tend to fall in the end of their carear
