A-League set to expand to 10 teams

The long-term viability of the A-League is set to be put to the test in six months with the competition poised to expand to 10 teams.

Football Federation Australia today granted provisional licenses to the Gold Coast Galaxy and Townsville-based Gold Coast Galaxy with both expected to join the current eight teams next season.

I think this is a great idea. This season of the A-League has been highly succesful and the domestic game in Australia is growing nicely.

I think its a good idea to expand the comp. It will help the comp grow and football in Australia grow.
