Leverkusen were lucky to get away with a draw against a dominant City side. Eden Hazard opened the scoring for City with a simple close range finish. Wilfried Bony equalised for Leverkusen with a header from a Calhanoglu freekick. City had the lion's share of possession, but Leverkusen reponded with some crucial tackles and interceptions.
MOTM: Wilfried Bony: The Ivorian displayed excellent strength in holding the ball up for Bale and Co. while grabbing the equaliser.

Emenike put Basel back in the lead with a header of his own. Almost immediately, Pjanic hit a long range rocket to put PSG level but Downing scored another goal to win it for Basel.
