Apparently the Indian fans have migrated towards NZ, just saw a favourite mod of mines throwing his support towards NZ, think I may shift allegiance towards Australia!
NZ is my second fav. since ages.

I am with Aussies, though New Zealnd has been great. But Australia can overtake them as they did India while some ppl said, India will win from Aussies as they have been first in Pool B

NZ has played some outstanding cricket of late and would be quite sad if they didnt claim the big prize. That having said the Aussies are formidable in their own den and its not going to be easy.

By this time tomorrow,we shall have a new World Champion...

I can't see anything other than an Australia win. New Zealand have the habit of rolling over for the bigger sides, hence all those semi-finals they made without going any further. Plus, home advantage has been huge in this World Cup, for both New Zealand and Australia, hence why it points to an Australian win, for me.

Could be wrong all the way, but some minor in game predictions:

- It will be 250-280 total game. Despite the crap ODI rules that favour the batsmen i reckon both teams bowling attacks are still good enough to have some control over each others hitters.

- Game should last the full 100 overs and I don't rule out a tie

- Could be the most competitive W-Cup final since the first one in 75

I dont think it will last the full 100 overs. A one sided victory for Aussies.

The team that wants it the most will have it, excellent fast bowlers on both sides however with a rampant Johnson Australia may just have the edge.

There are similar things that drive both teams, could it be that Australia want to win this world cup in memory of Phil, or could it be that NZ wants to win this world cup for Martin Crowe who is battling cancer.

Nice article by Crowe here:

That's more because our sides in previous semi finals haven't actually been that great but have done pretty well in actually getting to the semifinal.

Here we have the best team :yes

Agreed, with the exception of 92. We had the best performing team across the board and should have progressed were it not for an amazing Innings from a great, young Pakistani player. Didn't have the best players, but had the best team at the time. But the other 5 times, I think you are right.

I'm glad New Zealand is batting first because this means that they have a genuine chance of winning this now. Go Kiwis! Wipe that smug grin off Steve Smith's face, and send Mitch Johnson back where he and his silly mustache belong- 80s porn!
