Though you also need to purchase an appropriate fan, the heatsink is capable of beating a stock cooler by 30 degrees and often for far less noise, which is mainly why I like it. It's also particularly space efficient, as the heatpipe design allows it to be fitted with the fins on the back of the card, which also allows the fan to blow with the airflow through a PC case, rather than against it.

Guys, I am looking to buy a Cooler master eXtreme power 500w PSU. Even though its extremely overpriced here in India, I think it would be justified for the future and current proofing I would get.

I am hopefully going tommorrow to get the rig. Do you reckon I should make a "Build it yourself" guide with a lot of pictures as I build it myself?

Unfortunately I cannot recommend a Macbook, probably because I've never used Mac and can never tell about its reliability. If you want something ultra portable and good, just wait a while for the EEE PC 900.

And guys, I finally got my rig today. Sorry no tuts as I didn't have time to take photos while assembling it. I also couldn't get the Biostar TP35D2 but should get it within 4 days. Using a gigabyte 945GC right now.

The PC is smoking right now even with old nVidia drivers. Will load the new one's soon. I can fully max out Bioshoc at 1680 X 1050! Will try Crysis and COD4 soon.

Will get some good benchmarks and results soon enough.

I can't overclock as of yet due to this stupid 945GC mobo. I'll get a Biostar TP35D2 within 4 days, and then I'll bring you all the results.

Congrats on the new pc. There will be little point in overclocking an already fast gpu, unless you seriously overclock your cpu and then some.
