My upcoming rig......

Congrats on the new pc. There will be little point in overclocking an already fast gpu, unless you seriously overclock your cpu and then some.
Cheers Matt. Yeah, not looking into overclocking the GPU - current performance is more than enough. I can max out every game at 1680 X 1050. The CPU needs some work though.

Time for one more result -

F.E.A.R 1600 X 1200, 4X AA, Soft shadows on, every detail maxed out, getting ~92 FPS.

Downloading Crysis Demo atm. Will soon get 3dmark06 too.

Ya I would also like to see some screens. and also Crysis video if possible.

Crysis Video? Forget about it lol. We would need 9800GX2 Octa-SLI to do that. :p

Yeah, I'll soon enough bring in some nice screenshots of games. Problem is, they only look nice in 1680 X 1050. I guess I'll have to use photobucket and then post thumbnails here. :D

Here's my rig:
Intel C2D E6550 (OC 2.45GHz)
Transcend DDR2 667Mhz 2GB RAM (OC 700MHz)
Asus P5N-E SLI
MSI NX8800GTS 512MB OC ( Core- 730MHz, Shader- 1825MHz, Memory-1944MHz)
CoolerMaster Extreme Power 600W

I get a FPS of about 28-33 through out Crysis in both DX 9 and DX 10 @ 1280X1024 at Max settings , 4XAA and 2XAF. Is this FPS ok for for my configuration or should I be getting more FPS? Also can you guys guve me an idea about how GTA IV is going to fare in my rig?

No, you're score is perfectly fine. Although in DX9 the max setting is High, so you should be faring a bit better. I get an FPS ~38 under High settings. Have you updated to the latest drivers? (174.74)

Nope. I'm using the 169.21 one.

That HP PC is looting you. For Rs. 76000 you can get a much much better gaming PC. Infact, you don't even need to spend that much. See, the rig I got in my Sig, and its just cost me Rs. 45000. Get an E8400 Processor with it and it still wouldnt exceed Rs. 50000. And the 9600GT would give you about 5-6 times more performance than the measely 8500GT, which is not worth the money now IMO. Get it assembled. ;)

Great!!
lol.. if you combine 2 of my computers, i get a setup really similar to yours, except the graphics card..

Rig 1:
Core 2 Duo E6550 - 2.33 Ghz
Intel G33 M/b
Transcend 2 GB Ram @ 800 Mhz.

Rig 2:
Core 2 Quad Q6600 - 2.4 Ghz
Asus P5N-E-SLi
Transcend 2GB Ram @ 800 Mhz

Rig 3:
Core 2 Duo E8400 - 3.0 Ghz
Some Asus m/b - Very basic.
Transcend 2GB Ram @ 800 Mhz

Lol.. i might wanna mix and match within my systems :D

You just said sometime ago that you were planning to buy a Rs. 63000 PC?
I have canceled it

That system is good but you need to upgrade your GFX card to XFX Geforce 8800GT or 9600GT. I recommend XFX Geforce 8800GT Alpha Dog edition best performance on Crysis (All settings set to high @ 1280 X 1024) and also probably on other resolutions too.

That's overkill. I can play on a STOCK 9600GT, Crysis, at 1680 x 1050 all settings high! And its cost is nowhere near that of the 8800GT Alpha dog! Much cheaper.
