this festival of Ganesha lord is celebrated with wide joy...

it is just some 2 months to go for the festival to start but the preparations are already started...

this festival is celebrated all over India but in Maharashtra it is celebrated at every point...

About Lalbaughcha Raja

Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai is one of the most popular Ganesh Pandals in Mumbai. Located at Lalbaug in Mumbai, the Ganesh idol erected here during Ganesha utsav is popularly known as Lalbaugcha Raja. It is visited by millions of people during the 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal has a website, with photos and details about the arrangements for Ganeshotsav 2007. The Lalbaugcha Raja mandal was established in 1934.

when the festival begins people bring lord ganesha as thier guest for 1* 2* 5* 10* 11* days.
In our house we do bring lord Ganesha every year hers the 2007(last) year pic*:)pic

As a Maharshtrian,I love the festival.10 days of enjoyment.The best part-the sweets,especially the ukdiche modak.

Nice dude.My grandfather happens to be the trustee of the Siddhivinayak Ganesh Temple at Nandgaon.That is near to Murud-Janjira. We enjoy the festival every year.

I just mentioned it dude,you need to drive down from Alibaug,about an hour's drive.Btw,I doubt there would be many to talk about the Ganesh festival on this forum-so it wont count as off-topic. :)

Hindu -Muslim -Sikh- Esaae all come together **enjoy & Worship lord Ganesha
 
Yeah its a great festival all of my family gathers and we all celebrate there...Well I take holidays from school to visit many temples...
 
For the 'thrill' of the festival,you need to be in Maharshtra.Thats the place where we have a lot of fun.
