Raiphi Gomez doesn't need to play international cricket to be the best, he already is.

Interesting to see a lack of Dravid here. He was a smart batsmen in his day and capable of destroying attacks. Yes, as much as I pay him out I can admit he was a great player Tendulkar is a great player though and is the best ODI player on that list. He can accelerate quite well without needing to do anything stupid. He can play over the slips, through the covers and pull very nicely and can hit gaps with these shots, so he can pretty much play 2/3 balls for runs which will result in a top scoring rate.

To all dravid fans, i respect the man but he is not that good in ODI's. If this was a list of Test batsmen,then he would have made it to the Poll easily. And whats that crap regarding Raphie Gomez? The guy has just signed for an IPL team and yet to Play international cricket. So technically he doesnt belong in this Poll, even if he is special he has to proove it in some intenational games first to get any consideration

Dravid's got a very good ODi record, averaging 39, but Sachin's the better ODi player by a decent distance. Sachin's played more games, and still averages comfortably higher, and he's scored an unreal amount of hundreds. Averaging 49 from the 253 innings batting at number 2 is testament to his skill. One of the greatest ODi openers of all-time, I'd have him and Matty Hayden in my all-time team I reckon. Sachin > Dravid.
