Highlights of the 2009 Ashes

As the fallout of the series starts, use this thread to post your favourite moments and passages of play of the recent Ashes series. Which by the way, England won. Not Australia.

Anyway this is without a doubt my favourite moment;

This was my favourite moment.

Trott's century, without a doubt is my favorite moment in the entire Ashes. When English middle order was going worthless, Trott came into the squad at a right time in match decider.

Also, Monty/Anderson partnership in the first test would be my second favorite one without which the series would have got tied.

Bopara forgetting how to bat in the first test.

In fairness to him he never forgot how to bat, he just never knew in the first place.

Swann bowling Ponting, I think it was at Edgbaston? Beautiful piece of off-spin bowling.

Not a highlight as such, but proof that Broady doesn't bat for the other side:

When swann bowled ponting was my favourite moment aswell.

This isnt a highlight but its a picture of ponting after failing.

Anyway who could forget dear old Prince Phailip;

It constantly made me laugh when the crims we're all like "Lolz Graeme Swann can't play the short ball, bowl him the short stuff Sidvicious!!!1!". What they failed to realise was that Swann plays the short ball better than Phailip and he scored more runs this series.

Should really have called this thread the Crim Epic Fail Thread or something. Sponsored by UV obviously. I think you should change your username to UV King of Broad btw Dan.
