When Gilchrist missed the first 2 balls, he went to tonk the next and got pwned by Nathan Spinks. Troy Lerana hung in there with Gajan, getting a partnership of almost 100. Callum Gray was a bit of a let down when he wasted too many bowls and the Ravens ended up making a chaseable score of 142. Demons bowlers were quite good, except for Dwayne Bravo.
Brendon Hedger went on a killing spree and owned himself when he got out for 10 off 5, but the star of the match was Shakti Makwana... Again! Him and Suren Ram played a nice partnership, although Suren could've attakced the ball a little more. De Villiers and Bravo just went crack and tonked the ball in the last couple of overs, especially against Ravens captain Gajan. The Demons even looked to fall between the 16th and 18th over but captain Gajan let the team down.
It would be a better idea for captain Gajan to bring up Yashwant Kumar and give him a chance to do something as he IS an opening batsman. He may also want to put Doshi back, after he failed epically with the ball. Also Brendon Hedger might want to think about giving McLovin the ball instead of Dwayne Bravo & replacing Bravo with a batsman.
