I mean, I did claim the RSA ODI attack was one of the best too, but that was just to make the 200 seem Godlike. It isn't really true. Steyn's quality (but not so much in ODIs), and the rest are filler. How can so many people believe the bowling attack is so good? How can so many people not possibly hold a straight argument, veering off the point at hand and bring up completely un-related stats and points and think they're winning the argument? How can people be so dumb? How can they be so thick?


Or, alternatively, how did PC get filled with so many trolls

The IPL isn't a bad concept, but I think that the fact that it is India and India's Media that's the problem. No great education, a HUGE number of kids with access to the net, and incredibly biased reporting. Boom, recipe for disaster.

I don't live in Detroit/any of the car cities so it isn't as bad here. School budgets and such are getting cut though and unemployment is pretty high in general. We went to Detroit to pick up my mom from the airport and that place is simply dead. Very sad to see as some 20 years back it was the richest city in the world.

Even California is going to the dogs, the east coast has always sucked. Its Texas's time in the sun! We have a multi billion dollar surplus and Austin is slowly becoming the new silicon valley.

you cant even THINK of renting a 2BHK in any of the western suburbs
if you dont earn above 60,000Rs per month....that itself is pushing it....

Detroit, in it's time of glory, was a world power. We were distributing cars all over the world and most Americans bought American.

Texas would be soooo much better without the hicks. Was in Houston in 06 and some of the blatant racism (especially against Mexicans) was something I wasn't used to. But man, weather was brilliant, roads were superb, highway system so much better then what we have here in MI. All summer, 60% of the roads are closed here for 'winter prepping'. So we either have to deal with snow and terrible conditions or deal with construction. :doh And plus, due to us being poor and all, lots of these construction projects go uncompleted.

I'm sure Austin is better than the rest of Texas though, seeing as it is a college city and all.

Chi-town is where it's at. That is where i'm going to live when i'm out of this hellhole. Apart from the weather it is IMO one of the best cities in America.

Real estate in Mumbai in general is crazy expensive. Chennai too, you can barely find land under 30-45 lakhs per ground (that too an hour away from the main city).

Mysore will be the next real estate boom. Mark my words.

Wow, the day after it snowed here, it was 60 degrees and sunny, all the snow was gone!

I kinda miss it, not sure if I want that much though, shovelling sounds like rough work.
