Ross, are commentary names already included in the beta so we can assign them to players & teams right now? Or will we be doing that later with the actual game?

You will of course be able to name your players and teams but I don't think there will be commentary in the beta as it is only for player and team creation/editing and sharing to start with, because as Ross said, without the game the rest of the options are not very useful.
What I meant here was that could we hear the audio sample for the commentary name we select? Just as you could in Cricket07.
I think that is what I said, that we won't. I have not played Cricket 2007 but I assume you are talking about the full game while on the contrary this is a beta.
You haven't played C07, there's the point. It's like when you select a name for commentary, it just plays in the background, so you could know how it sounds. That'd be great to have in the Beta. We'd know how the recordings have been done. Not a big issue if that isn't included, though. If Ross could comment?

It will work that way in the game but not the Cricket Academy Beta as the file size of the commentary would make the download too big.
Ross Sir, Is there a DRS system in the Game? It would be unique and many request it![]()
I think it might not be worth it without manual appeal system. Personally, I would not be disappointed if it isnt in the game....there are other 'more important' mechanics that need to work correctly. All the bells and whistles can be added later. \
There is a manual appeal system - appeals must be raised for some decisions or the umpire will not give the wicket.
