Alzarri Joseph | Man of the Match: It is a dream. I could not have asked for a better start. I just backed my plans and it worked. My plan was to keep it simple and back myself. I know we had a game to win and I was focused on that (on why he didn't celebrate Warner's wicket). The boys are playing well and putting in a lot of hard work. The coaches are also helping us with their inputs.

It's hilarious how some people are using 'select' interviews and quotes and praising Ashwin for the 'mankad.' First of all, I have no issue with the mankad. My issues are as follows-

1) Ashwin didn't warn the batsman
2) He never intended to bowl
3) He only chose to do it to Buttler because the game hinged on him and he was rapidly taking it away from Punjab

Instead of being normal about this now and accepting at least some fault in it, people are calling it the second coming of christ. I bet my last penny that had he not hailed from TN, one such member would not be so "in love." It's shameless that our country as diverse and revised as it is still bases opinion on our ethnicity and origin. The same people will pass moral science lessons when Kohli gives a send off to a batsman who has been very much dismissed in the 'spirit' of the game. Because he comes from northern India and has a different culture? Rich!

Yesterday's game was an outstanding example of the way statistics dictate our sport. Cockroaches like Manjerekar will sing hymns of Joseph till he gets clattered for 50 in 4. He bowled well, but the game was won by and far by Rahul Chahar. He was the star of the game and if people had held on to his catches, he might have got 5.

The SRH vs MI was exact reversal of last year's match played at the wankhede where MI just capitulated chasing a low scoring target. As a MI fan I could say that this was our revenge for the last year.

Exactly !!! A perfect revenge. Many people trolled MI fans when they lost against SRH last year and now they have suffered it themselves. Cricket is a funny game you know !!! :D:D

What the hell is going on with our openers? Both Dhawan and Rohit have been so poor this IPL!

Not a great surprise to me. Dhawan hasn't been a great T20 player while Rohit hasn't scored much of runs in last 3 seasons. But both of them have scored loads of runs in ODI Cricket since last 3-4 years. I think recently Kohli has struggled in any form of T20 Cricket be it either IPL or T20I Cricket but has become a great batsman at the Test level while in ODIs he has always been a top-notch player. Doesn't matter whether they score or not because currently Dhoni's form is very crucial for India at this stage and the good thing is that he has been the best Indian batsman right from the start of this year. Hopefully we can see similar form in the WC

Karma is a hitch، you know!!

This Kohli-AB duo is taking RCB no where. I think RCB being so much dependent on both, both of them should play a little more responsibly. Haven't seen AB struggle so much for a while now :noway

Last 5 overs to go with Kohli just on 26 from 27 surely he has to get going now.

So RCB are virtually out of the tournament now. Another season where they would look back and think what if they would've taken better decisions at start of the tournament. :facepalm

6-0. There’s obviously nothing wrong with the leadership. Yet, all the guys who leave the team start performing for other franchises almost immediately.

I’m an AB fan. But, he’s not been as fluent as his previous years. BUT, the aura around him and Kohli is very bad for the team. You cannot win a league this big around the aura of two men. Teams are always bigger and a franchise more so.

I am not one of those who feels these two are responsible for this totally, but an overhaul is needed because this has not worked.

All those who blame Kohli in soul also need to impart it on AB. He’s a senior pro and regardless, he is also responsible. If he’s not voiced his opinion which I think is the case then it’s not justified. If he has, it’s not working.

I will go wherever AB goes, but for Bangalore’s sake, there must be change.

If I remember correctly, Deccan Chargers which holds the second worst record of losing opening 5 consecutive matches in 2012 later ended up with selling the team in 2013, hence marking the exit of Deccan Chargers and entrance of Sunrisers Hyderabad.

It was the financial problem of the franchise and nothing related to the results while it's something different for RCB so I don't see them doing it. I think they may take the example of MI and continue to own the team if that is the case then
