England's tour of India - 2021

No, i mean how can England select one main spinner?
I think Moeen would have played had he 'chosen' to stay. Probably batting at 7.

I think they had tunnel vision about the pink ball and D/N and were convinced Anderson, Broad and Archer would be the way to go.

They could've gone for Woakes at 7 (not that I think even his immaculate batting would've improved things or his bowling would made any difference) and then included Bess. But it would've meant leaving out one of Broad or Anderson.

That Foakes decision is a disgrace, there is clearly not a flat line when it passes the bat, the first spike is starting.

That's not incompetence, that's just cheating

Calm down. Don't let the emotions take the better of you.

Yeah, i thought there was a little spike when it hadn’t hit the pad yet, and the bat didn’t hit the pad either. So I definitely thought it was a small edge.

I’m certain we will open with Leach but I expect them to go with Anderson too
If the lights are on, Anderson should get a couple. If he isn’t successful, two spinners should bowl

Well shows what I know...

As an admission of how badly we got our selection wrong this is pretty special
