If anyone is following GT vs MI, does anyone think GT has missed the trick by not using Joseph instead of Little who hasn't really sparked in the last few games? Also, looking at Shivam Mavi in the subs shows the strength of GT's pace bowling.

The Indian obsession with left arm pacers is a never ending love story at this point. People wanted Arshdeep in the ODI team after he broke the middle stump ahead of Bumrah/Siraj/Shami because he bowls left arm and that’s apparently essential in today’s cricket world (never mind that the WC winners did fine without one).

Arjun Tendulkar is a God among mortals, not bowling him for one more over is becoming silly. You shouldn’t let one bad over dictate the future plans for other games.

GT and MI batting on different pitch?

The GT effect is real… somehow any player they employ becomes instantly better.

What I would love to see is the Indian team get some of the backroom staff from GT and also lean into the practices in the CSK dressing room for player mentalities. Feels like there’s a trove of valuable info there that should be a thing at higher level.

Stupid A-- attitude displayed by Arjun Tendulkar. Nehal Wadhera is batting on 39 off 19 balls and is trying to farm strike to ensure that MI can limit damage on their net run rate. Thats why Piyush Chawla got out, and Piyush understood it and walked a few steps out of his crease to sacrifice his wicket. But next ball Nehal Wadhera does the same with Arjun and Arjun intentionally and blatantly ignores his call and gets to the striker end.... The only reason for this was that Arjun wanted to take the opportunity to show his batting abilities, at the cost of Mumbai's net run rate.

If MI miss playoffs on net run rate, Arjun Tendulkar should be blamed!

No, the very same players don't play well for India. Case in point MSD, who seemed to be unable to strike the ball whilst playing for India. However zfor CSK, he magically transforms into a beast.

GT- again, not happy with Hardik at 3. Let the IPL staff remain in their cosy confines.

Right. Maybe this has to do with the fact that top Indian batsmen struggle against left armers. Now I saw this obsession of left armers from England as well with the likes of Sam Curran, Tymal Mills, Reece Topley, David Willey and another new pacer I forgot the name of been tried by them, sometimes multiple of these playing ahead of the of Mark Wood, Stone and all.

Right Dhoni was absolute dud in international cricket in his final years.

Either you bowl him a left arm spinner/leg spinner or just bowl short and wide with pacers.

He was really struggling to get going but rather played some good defensive innings in low scoring games.
