I believe the Pathan brothers are way underrated. Yusuf Pathan was a beast in the inaugural IPL. He played a major part in the successful campaign for RR. Man of the match in the first ever IPL final and a strike rate of almost 180 with 435 runs is just nuts for 2008. A perfect finisher.

Would a trade window work in a draft with such restrictions though? For example if I end with 3 players from 2023 or 4 players from MI might be a little weird right? Just a suggestion

Good thinking, should we do a trade window, the normal restrictions will still apply.
Trades then can only happen of both parties restrictions aren't jeopardized.

Dinesh Karthik with his international career spanning around 18 years well and truly found his mojo in 2022 when slid himself into the role of a finisher and how?! Mostly playing in the death overs when the best of the bowlers were at the disposal of the rival team, Karthik smashed 22 sixes and 27 boundaries in just 16 innings as he scored 330 runs with a staggering average of 55 and that at a strike rate of 183+!

He was solid behind the stumps too bringing all his experience and expertise over the years onto the ground.

Certainly a huge asset to have in the team especially at the death overs when the teams want to swell the score.

My first overseas signing is going to be the fearless Haydos. The orange cap winner of 2009 had accumulated 572 runs at an average of 52 with a strike rate of 145. Plus he has the X-factor of single handedly winning matches for the side. Absolutely amazing signing for me in my personal opinion.
