Go there Australia if you want to get killed. Stay home to relax.:gundown

The ICC does have to approve the security of these things. If it really is too dangerous, the series won't be held.

Well they should cancel it now, i mean this was scheduled years ago, because the ICC have like a 6 year schedule planned out, can they just cancel a tour off the calender?

Zimbabwe is the worst country we could be going to right now, by far (out of test nations of course). The country and politics as well as the cricket board are all in turmoil and it is not a safe place to visit.

So can the ICC board just cancel this off the calender?
or dont they care about these issues and leave it up to us to cancel the tour and pay the fine?

Something not many people not about me on here is that I am formally South African. I've lived in Zimbabwe for 3 months when I was younger and yea, It's a dangerous place but it isn't that bad as what people on here are making out.

If the Australian cricket team are well protected, they'll be fine, and as a cricket fan from southern africa I think it will be good for the game.

Just thought I'd chime in here.

And because they are white they'll be even finer. Part of the reason I didn't cop anything bad in Zimbabwe is because I'm white.

I don't mean to be racist or anything here :) , just saying as I'm probably the only one on here who's experienced it. And generally, white people are safer.

It will be great for the country, but yea there is that risk there,, so I'm undecided

That is interesting, I thought that Magabe was favourable to the blacks and hated the whites.

You learn something new every day:)

Rob Magabe has no effect on the country son. I obviously never met him, but I am talking from experience here, and the blacks copped it more than the whites (around the area of Harare I lived in anyway.)

mmm you sure it wasn't just because you were a kid? Anyways that was pretty interesting to know :)

Unless kids are colour blind, I'm 100% sure of it :P

My whole family was absoultely fine there. Sure, the crime rate is higher than Australias, but it NEVER seemed so dangerous you can't walk down the street to me.

I hope we tour if the security is good. Two reasons:
1. We don't want a 2mil fine
2. Good chance to send a 2nd XI
