Leave this be folks. We'll deal with this in the appropriate manner. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Just a side note - if they are doing all this, there are 99.9 % chances that the invision they are using is illegal. So you can contact invision to get them sued too.

Do what ste used to do... Add a readme file to the zip file containing a copyright stating that if you downloaded this from elsewhere, you are to report to us... also, use some kind of PC logo on screenshots...

Yeah but couldn't we get in trouble for making the patches originally? Or isn't that illegal?

Technically, patching a game is illegal. However, the Codemasters community liaison manager is fully aware of what we are doing and even invited some of us to headquarters last year so he's obviously not that bitter about it!

As for EA, patches have probably risen their sales. People visit this site, look at the patches and think "I want some of that" and go out and buy it. Not to mention the ones that buy the game purely to patch it. Collectively, we have probably saved EA's and Codemaster's bacon over the years and kept them in the cricket gaming business.

That portal has now refused to take any new registration, most probably they will shut that site and will open a new one, then again steal our things.
I have heard about this site, before but never checked it .

Technically patching a game isn't illegal, distribution of those patches is. For example a bat or kit maker who only posts the image that needs to be imported to let you patch it yourself is legal, but posting an fsh file that includes some EA graphics would be violating the licence agreement. However no one would ever be prosecuted for doing so, because it is in the developer's best interest to turn a blind eye to it (they can't endorse patching directly however)

F them MFs stop taking hard work. can someone give me a email link for the admin there.
