GCSE Results Day

OK, Simbazz has explained it all:)

We are the same really, except you guys start/finish school one year earlier.

Well done guys. No one can beat me going from a B in GCSE Chemistry to an F in Higher Chemistry. That takes skill

What is everyone doing to celebrate their results? Anyone getting any rewards? I'll just go out with a group of friends for dinner - nothing fancy.

A couple of guys I know are getting £100 for every A* they get. Madness !

I'm going to a party to get absolutely leathered in about 2 hours.

Underage drinking; Can't beat it.

Aye, exactly the same as Matt. I hope to get so drunk I think I'm jesus.

I have an awful habit of going on MSN messenger when I return home from a night out though. Apparently i'm very rude too.

You've not lived till you've had an MSN webcam convo with my mate Lewis when he's wasted. Most of his contacts list has seen his arse and other terrible things from the general area over webcam.

I'm sure Lewis is a right laugh, but Hennessey has a disturbing habit of giving me a snog after plenty of beverages...moving on.

I'm not doing anything English related ever, so in that case it doesn't bother me. But whenever I say 11 A*s and B, they always ask what's the B in.
Doubt it, once you get further education under your belt nobody gives a toss how you did at GCSE's. Then once you've had one decent job, nobody gives a toss about your education at all.

Aye Kevs right. It's the same with A levels once your going/been to Uni, once you get to the next step nobody cares about the last one.

GCSEs get you into College/Sixth Form. A-Levels get you into Uni. Uni gets you a job.

There are alternative courses but this is the main way.

Exams are really just stepping stones into further education and ,eventually, employment.

I'm in year 10 and did 3 GCSE's a year early, which is how it works in our school, for some reason!
Anyway i was pleased with 2 A's and a C
