After a long process and lots of interviews the VC/VCs have been decided. We have decided to have a T20 VC, a OD VC and a Test VC.

'Well hello and welcome to this match, between the 'new look' Derbyshire and Durham. It is perfect conditions for a match today and so is the forcast for the week. No rain in sight. It should be four beautiful summers days.
Now lets have a look at the line ups for today:
No-one really knows how this 'new' Derbyshire team will preform today, they are young and inexperienced. I have never heard of any of them. I am sorry Iloveireland but I dont agree with your methods of coaching and I dont think your team have a chance of winning this match.
Slats is down on the ground with the Derbyshire captain Iloveireland.
Iloveireland do you honestly think you can win this match??
Well if we didnt think we could we wouldnt turn up Slats.
And what are your strategies??

Well Nick there is a lot of pressure on your team to beat this young team. Has it effected team morale or are the boys not fussed??
Well we always play to win, Slats, no matter the opposition. If we were playing the Durham 2nd XI we'd still try to smash them.
How does it feel to be captain because its your first time too??
I am a bit nervous to be honest but I am sure we can pull through and win this game.
Derbyshire won the toss and decided to bat. They got off to a terrible start though with PaulNixon1 only getting 8 runs before he fell to a bad call to the bowling off Plunkett
GrayNicholls didnt wait around after losing his partner with a crashing cut shot for four. FeelingBlue? kept up the attack with 2 fours.
Thnigs were starting to go our way with the partnership nearly worth fifty until Breese bowled a beautiful ball to knock over GrayNicholls for 19.
Things continued to go their way with Bridge getting FeelingBlue? next over on the last ball for only 25 runs.
A few boundaries later we lost another batsman, this time Pakcricketer and we were in real strife at 4/80.
A few more runs later horror struck again. This time agressive Afrifi went and the Durham players were starting to laugh.
This was a terrible performance so far and they were gonna need a great peformance from the next 2 batsman if they were to have any chance of winning.
At lunch we were 5/100and doing terribly!!

Shot of the day came in this session with a giant six from ZoraxDoom
It went a mile, great work
A couple of overs later Mathers finally got to his first FC 50. It was a real VC knock and Iloveireland had a big grin on his face for chosing him. Iloveireland knew both these batsman had to do a lot more though to get a decent total.
The partnership soon went over one hundred. It was actually a partnership record
They were doing great and Iloveireland was surprised how good Zorax was after he had barely made the squad.
Soon enough Zorax also got his 50. He was estatic. He started sledging the Durham bowlers and Iloveireland could see why he was told not to make Zorax VC.
They got a few more quick runs and broke another record. They were both hoping to get the biggest score of the season award!!
At tea the Zorax and Ross took a good rest after batting out the session. The score was 5/243. 143 off that session. Iloveireland and the boys congradulated em and hugged em because they had kept the team in the game.

In the next session both batsman got more aggressive and really started to hit a lot of boundaries. The Durham bowlers had stopped laughing and were getting very nervous.
Zorax rushed to 99 and was there a while and seemed very nervous. Mathers had also reached 90 and the agressive Durham turned on and really put the pressure on the batting team in a hope to knock em over.
Zorax finally hit a shaky two runs and got his 100!!

He return fire though be smashing Killeen to get to 100.
Both batted out the rest of the day unscaved and really really tired. They were dreaming of making the INT team as well. It was bliss, until Iloveireland said its time to do our 6km run. Iloveireland took Ross and Zorax out for a drink that night to congradulate them on their record. He believed thats one of the highest partnerships ever for Derbyshire. This made both happy and excited that they could be in the record books forever. So we ended up 5/380

Great work Ross (Kooky, VC) and Zorax for saving the day. We are a real chance and I doubt I will drop you guys next game. I am gonna start going more agressive now. You have only been normal agression so far.

That is a great recovery by Mathers and Zorax. Great batting by these two.

I will be rotating people. Its impossible for me to play everyone because we have 14 peeps.

Well I am, the top order failed, I was dissapointed but I am amazed at how good Mathers and Zorax went. It is good to know you can rely on the lower order when you are opening.
Will Mathers and Zorax move up the order??
They might if my top order fails again.
Is Zorax a good bowler??
I picked him for his bowling.
Is it true you got bribed to pick Zorax in your squad??
Bribe is a bad word, I prefer the word a 'bad trade'. Plus he aint the only one, most of the team made 'bad trades'
