Ended the day losing one more wicket
The next day begun and Ali reached his most crucial 50..A well fought out innings as a chance for a good lead was there..
But maintain wickets was hard and every one started falling out..
But this dismissal of Mark Wood made me go Wow..That was great delivery from him though
With only Anderson left with Ali , he was trying to retain as much strike but AI had different opinion about it and brought Starc back into attack only to get Ali with a beauty of a delivery and finish the innings..
As you can see the pitch was manageable who tried to stay in but if not settled down you definitely are going down...
So now Australia started their second innings..
I felt this would go similar to first innings which at the start looked like it with Renshaw mistiming one to Ali , Khawaja getting one high up in the air..
Though this one shot off Khawaja was nice realtime..Was a bouncer bit higher than Khawaja was going for but the ball took an edge and went finer to boundary..And nice moment while bowling..
And the next one was Handscomb going for a backfoot shot which came in just to take his gloves and pop up in the air and yet again Stokes proving effective..
But after Australia were 39-3 , Shaun Marsh came in to join the surviving Bancroft..
Marsh looked bit off initially but Bancroft kept it going..With a few boundaries here and there and rotating strikes they kept the scorecard going..
This was another shot I love in the game and in this case was played by AI..Just gotta enjoy these..
And soon it was great to see AI build up a partnership of 50 at such crucial time..
So with an intention to do something different brought in Ali and BAM!! In the first over of his he broke the partnership..
Ali bowling few flighted deliveries and suddenly bowling one fast turning ball , the AI totally missed it and oh yeah, stumping chase..
Now knowing the pitch I was sure that its now an opportunity to bundle them up..
Paine went for a duck and followed by Mitch Marsh who got out with this beauty off Mark Wood..
Even then Shaun Marsh managed to reach 50 ..Was really good innings from him..
And soon they bundled up for 132 posting a target of 46 for England to win..
You can see how the partnership were and how its must to settle down as it wasnt easy for the new man coming in..
As for England reply to reach the target , no dramas there.. Was a patient 46 and 10 wickets win for England..
