If you go by stats, then ,yes, he has scored, however, let us try and look at his role as an impact player(not the current sub rule). I am purely looking at MSD from the lens of him being a player whose role is to come in as a floater and bail the team out. I believe he has lost his zing and that shows terribly now.

I have made a mention of this previously as well-CSK has been playing the brand of cricket that brought them a lot of success earlier. However, oppositions have become smarter and have understood CSK's gameplan- save wickets and go hard later. Bowlers too, have become smarter and have bowled tighter to pre-meditated displays from CSK.
