1001 Things You Love about Cricket

95. The Geography - in no other sport do the supporters know so much about the locations matches are played. The cricketing world is very diverse, from a bright morning in stunning Queenstown to a cold, dull lunchtime in Scarborough.

I've been playing for over 10 years and I have yet to middle the ball...:(

96. - The fighters. The Collingwoods, the Dravids, the Giles. They prove the cricket isn't all about talent, but about attitude as well. About never giving up and trying your best, no matter how impossible the situation.

97. The entertainers. Forget the boring fighters that Zorax is on about, and think about the talented entertainers. I'm thinking Pietersen, Hayden, Dhoni, McCullum, Yuvraj (as much as I hate to admit it), Gilchrist, Richards, Gibbs, Tendulkar, Flintoff. The list goes on. Those players > Ashley Giles.

99.Welsh Cricketers Nothing better to see on a cricket pitch, we need more of them. Earth to ECB selectors, bring back Geriant!!!

100. Ganguly Sixer : It was great to see Sourav Ganguly hitting slow left arm bowlers out of the ground over mid-on/ mid-wicket. Heavenly pleasure- that's what I used to feel after watching those. .

101. Ravinder Bopara. Going to be a big player in England's future, is immensely talented in both forms of the game, and he's just made his first Test hundred. Watch this space.

I concur with the above statement. I've been wanting Bopara in the side for a while now. He's a great talent. Shouldn't have been dropped in the first place tbh but has got his place back and hopefully will perform for a long time.

And that's that. Anyone care to summarise what the 101 things that PC loves about Cricket are? It's gonna be a pretty crappy list :p

I think we can just keep going :p
102 - Sachin's upper cut. So graceful, so effective, and it takes the reflexes of Superman to pull of.
