okay u cant crack jokes with the captain buddy!! kevin pietersen is dropped from the side for the 1st game...
just kidding..he he..(cant put smileys cuz i am working on a proxy)

i was wondering when the first match was starting
also sqaure cut would be a good shot to play (Jones fav shot) just not to much as tends to be the way he gets out

Shd we start the warm up game now,or shd we wait for more players and staff to enter?Pl let me know ur views so that I may act accordingly. Thanks

i think you should start when you want to :) hell you are the one playing the game :D

For Hoggard bowl some good bouncers in the start to create some fear in batsmen mind and then after some overs stick to the outside off line with regulars swings on both side and dont forget to bol some test deliveries in between. The field should be attacking for batsmen early in inning such as three slips and two guliies and then normal field later in the inning with two slips and a gully with rest fielders on the remaining main position. Some tips from coach and captain are always great and inbetween I would more like to bowl where my captain wants me to bowl.

In batting I dont think I have much to do. I will try to be an ideal tailender by hanging around with other main batsmen but I wouldnt hesitate in hitting some big shots according to the need or I am the last person left to get out.

Rest of the style both batting and bowling depends on the match situation but in first warmup game I will really love to show some pace and swing to send some strong messages to all batsmen around the world.

The first warmup match shall start & end on the 26th September(Monday).Any member or staff may post any interviews within now and then and also and specific things that they want me to do(some have already told me).

Hope we do well in that game.

For others, registration for both players and staff is still open.

who are we playing for the warm up match? and how can you guys get the old ball to reverse swing? its only 20 overs old O.o

ill go hell for leather straight away. maybe an over to relax into things then put the foot down. right over the top especially mid on. get us off to a good start fingers crossed

Is Ian Bell in the default ODI side?If not can someone pls make a roster of Ian Bell replacing Nasser Hussain frm the team and post the attachment. It will help me save some much needed time,as Im currently preparing fields according to each bowlers specification. Thanks in advance.

Btw the captain pl tell me if I shd bat or bowl first if I win the toss. The vice-captain and senior players may also put their views on this matter.

Playing Namibia in the warmup match.

batting or bowling first depends on the pitch..if its a wet pitch or if we've got overcast coditions,we'll have a bowl..or else we'll have a bat..
