PLANET CRICKET ELEVEN v BENGAL TIGERS

Hello all and welcome to the neutral venue of the Moon for this mid-season friendly match between a Planet Cricket XI and the Bengal Tigers of the BFFCL.

After a thorough selection process, a committee of w3lshrugby and holdenator have come up with a select XI to represent PlanetCricket. This has been selected on form (using the stats at the halfway stage) and activity, and we're very sorry to those that missed out, but please continue to comment in this thread on the progress of PlanetCricket as we attempt to win!

The pitch on the moon will be NORMAL, and I am awaiting the team announcement from the Bengal Tigers before getting underway with the match. Hopefully it will be played on 30th Dec (Tomorrow)

Legendary Allrounder outraged at non-selection!!!​

Legendary Downright Donkey's Allrounder Zorax Doom has expressed his shock at not being selected to be a part of the PlanetCricket representative XI for the upcoming friendly match(es) against the Bengal Tigers.

"Clearly there has been some mistake - I AM PlanetCricket!"

Zorax went on to say that picking players on statistics was a crude and unfair means of doing so, as several undeserving players would have made the cut.

"I've been paid to...wait, no. I've been too busy with my...side businesses...to care about how I've been performing on the field in recent weeks. As a result my stats aren't all that impressive. But when it is a matter of representing good 'ol PC, I would have given a 110%. The odds are always against us winning anyways, so I would earn a fortun...um, so I would try my best to prove the critics wrong and play out of my skin to get us a win."

"I thought these selectors would have more taste, and pick on potential, and not numbers. I am shocked and disgusted and downright furious at all the earnings I have lost...I mean, I mean, the experience I have lost! That's it. The lost experience I could have earned from playing in these matches. I'm disappointed in these selectors, and intend to take this to court. It's ridiculous I tell you!"

On that note Zorax stormed away in a huff to his helicopter, and took off, screaming "You'll be hearing from my lawyer" as the helicopter disappeared into the evening sun.​

Threatens Mob with Lawsuit!!

Legendary Downright Donkey's Allrounder Zorax Doom has announced his shock at Mob's allegations that he is a Drama Queen mere moments after Zorax announced his disappointment at not being picked for the PlanetCricket XI for a friendly match versus the Bengal Tigers.

"How dare that shrimpy, whiney, dorky little SOB dare says something like that! I'll Sue him! Sue him for slander! That loud-mouther little twat shall get what's coming to him! Bloody ******, he'll rue the day he said that. HE SHALL RUE IT!!!"

Zorax then proceeded to throw a fit and demolish the press conference area, before being escorted out by the security personal, hurling insults, expletives and threats to call his gang of lawyers.​

Dropping Zorax Was Right Decission​

Indian Warriors wkb World Champions stated that dropping Zorax was really a good decisison as Cricsim Board really cannot trust him. He has many scandals through out his career. Look at his records, he is involved in brawling,bribing,thretaning and many other things. WC said. " I think Zorax is a big scum () and hence it was a good and wise decission to drop. him. He always think about money and money, he can easily screw a team big time. Zoarx is just like those BCCI, thinks they has money power and can do what they wants. The present selectors has really showed their character and guts to drop Zorax

Simbazz Agrees With Zorax

In a rare interview with the ever-shy ( Simbazz, he has told "All Out Cricket," about his disappointment of being missed out of the Mid-Season friendly.

"I've been doing this for a good 5 seasons now, and i've regularly been involved in representative cricket, its a part of the game I enjoy and It means a lot to me. To be shunned out by these newbies, and to not even be called about it from the selectors shows how much they're favouring youth over experience and overall numbers."

When asked about Zorax's comments, Barrow had to say,

"Well I'd say its Zorax all along, he's in the game for a show, and makes his money doing that. The reasoning is there, and I can see why he is infuriated."

Barrow then said he had "No more comments," and retreated into the PCPL headquarters to continue making preperations to the forthcoming Season 2.

SELECTOR SPEAKS OUT

Look, there's not much I could do, alrigh'. I picked the team pretty quickly 'cos I wanted to get this goin' today. So, sorry to Zorax and all those that missed out, but I had to get players from every team involved. If anything, the biggest shock should be only one Soakers player getting a place in the team (as they're 2nd in the FC league). How can that be biased?

Anyway, can we not be supportive of PC XI against this provincial team from BFCCL? Come on!
