Right in games.. I seem to have a stutter issue.. Where i will be running all smooth then my fps will drop suddenly causing a stutter and my fps is lower than when i had my 8600gt. I was wondering if you guys could help me?

Cpu= amd 6000+ dual 3.0ghz
4870 xfx 1gb.
2gb ram
750w psu (unbranded cheap thing)

I was thinking of getting a corsair 650tx as maybe the card isnt getting enough power. as i dont think its a cpu bottleneck as most people get very good frames with the cpu i have (i think anyway) But if any body could help i would be grateful

Jamie.

Get some more RAM in, that'd help. Because the more RAM you have, the less HDD swapping has to occur, and less stutters. Countless PC's I've seen the cause of stutter is 2 Gigs of RAM in games like Crysis / GTA IV, at the high object quality. They have to use HDD very often, and as they are very slow generally [bar the SSD's] they turn out to be the bottleneck.

Your CPU and graphics card are good, don't worry. Although yes if you have money to burn you can do with a CPU upgrade.
