I would just like to post this thread to show how I feel about Chesterfield FC at the moment.

Right, where do I start?

The game was an absolute stunner and it was all Droylsden, however, what followed after was an absolute Disgrace to football, we had a player down and injuried (after being elbowed in the face) and as he needed treatment, we put the ball out for a throw, then, the cheats that are Chesterfield decided that instead of giving us the ball back they would rather shoot than play it back, this resulted in them scoring from 30 yards, then, the 22 man brawl erupted as we were rightly angered, 7 minutes later, the Chesterfield manage makes the correct decision and tells his players to allow us to walk in a goal...

Just want to say what a bunch of cheating, diving, route 1 idiots Chesterfield Fc Are..

Just needed to get that off my chest...

Droylsden's FA Cup dreams are still alive after they held League Two Chesterfield to a 2-2 draw in a controversial second-round tie at Saltergate.

The match exploded 12 minutes from the end when Jack Lester enraged the visitors by scoring after Droylsden had put the ball out of play.

But when the throw-in reached Lester, he lobbed the keeper from 30 yards and the match was held up as Droylsden protested furiously.

Chesterfield then allowed Steve Halford to walk unchallenged the length of their half to tap the ball into the net to equalise.

Jamie Ward had given the Spireites a 31st-minute lead in a game replayed after the first meeting was fogged off 10 days ago but Alex Brown headed an equaliser in the 50th minute.

Ward had a great chance to win it for Chesterfield in the 89th minute but Droylsden deserved another chance to reach the third round for the first time.

I say fair play to the manager. Obviously I think it's pretty bad that they decided to shoot from a throw-in that they should have given back to you, but at least the manager had the grace to let you have a goal. There have been plenty of occassions where teams have done that and scored but not let the other team get a goal back. So I really can't see what your complaining about...

There have been plenty of occassions where teams have done that and scored but not let the other team get a goal back. So I really can't see what your complaining about...

I see what your saying, but the Manager only did it because 1) they shouldn't have shot and 2) because we were 1-0 up last time, and he knew that if he wasn't to give us anything he would have been put under more controversy.

Plus, the players wernet going to let us score thats what the fuss is about...

League position counts for nothing Treva Darlington were top of League 2 and we beat them 1-0

Trust me, they have been on the back foot for the 2 games we have played them. Droylsden win all the way

I get the same feelings from these threads as I do M_Vaughan's constant posting in the Spanish Football Thread. Just appears to me that only 1 person cares. On a side note, I prefered Lee a few weeks back when he was a Man U fan.
